There is now less than 500 days until the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, and the route for the Queen’s Baton Relay has been released.

It will be the longest ever, taking in 70 Commonwealth nations and territories during a 288-day journey after leaving Buckingham Palace.

The relay will start on Commonwealth Day, March 13 2017, and will arrive in Australia in December.

It will pass through every Australian state and territory. A public Community Batonbearer Nomination program will be announced ahead of the Australian arrival.
